Baseball Game Preview: Silver Creek Raptors vs. Grand Junction Tigers

The Silver Creek Raptors will square off against the Grand Junction Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Last Wednesday, Silver Creek got the win against Montbello by a conclusive 15-5. That's two games straight that the Raptors have won by exactly ten runs.

Connor Lopez was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Henry Taylor was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.

Meanwhile, Grand Junction got themselves on the board against Northglenn on Friday, but Northglenn never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Norsemen with a sharp 15-0 win. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Norsemen recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Silver Creek now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Grand Junction, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.
