Soccer Game Preview: St. Charles East vs. Rockford East

The St. Charles East Fighting Saints will take on the Rockford East E-Rabs at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

St. Charles East is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to four goals on Saturday, they were much more limited against Lake Park on Tuesday. They lost 4-0 to the Lancers.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Rockford East's offense. They came up short against Hononegah on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Rockford East's defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 5-8-2. As for St. Charles East, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1-2 and their overall record down to 8-4-3.
