Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Heritage). They put the hurt on Varsity Opponent with a sharp 21-11 win on Tuesday. Considering the Panthers have won five contests by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Ryan Pattee was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing Two bases. while going 4-for-5. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Joel Fernandez was another key player, going 4-for-6 with five RBI and one run.

Pattee wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Heritage kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Heritage has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Heritage is taking a road trip to face off against Melbourne Central Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Varsity Opponent, they will face off against Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool has three straight victories, Varsity Opponent has 16 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
