Baseball Recap: Spaulding Takes a Loss

After flying high against Coe-Brown Academy last Wednesday, Spaulding came back down to earth. The Red Raiders fell 6-2 to the Dover Green Wave on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Red Raiders in their meetings with the Green Wave: they've now lost three in a row.

Spaulding saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Owen Nesbitt, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.

Spaulding's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Spaulding will square off against Kennett at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Dover, they will challenge Marshwood at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
