Basketball Recap: Ellie Roberts Key Part of Team Effort in Mountain Lions Win

Mountain View won the last time they faced The Academy and things went their way on Saturday too. The Mountain Lions came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 36-24. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mountain Lions.

Mountain View's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ellie Roberts led the charge by putting up nine points and six steals. Those six steals gave Roberts a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Teagan Bauer, who posted nine points along with seven boards and five steals.

Mountain View now has a winning record of 2-1. As for The Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.
