Soccer Recap: Clayton-Ridge's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

After flying high against Bellevue last Thursday, Clayton-Ridge came back down to earth. The Eagles came up short against North Fayette Valley on Tuesday, falling 5-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Clayton-Ridge of the 7-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, Clayton-Ridge fell to 3-1. As for North Fayette Valley, the victory got them back to even at 1-1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Clayton-Ridge will take on rival New Hampton at 5:00 p.m. on the 18th. Meanwhile, North Fayette Valley is set to square off against their familiar foe Decorah-North Winneshiek at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
