Football Recap: Central Takes a Loss

Central extended their losing streak to five on Friday, dropping them down to 3-6. They were outmatched by the North Little Rock Charging Wildcats and fell 43-13. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Charging Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

As for North Little Rock, their record now sits at 3-5. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

North Little Rock's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Zeke Lewis, who rushed for 78 yards and a pair of TDs on only 11 carries. Treyvon MacKintrush helped out on the ground, rushing for 95 yards.

Coming up, Central will host Cabot at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 47.25 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for North Little Rock, they are taking a road trip to face off against Bryant at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Charging Wildcats will need to watch out since the Hornets have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
