Hale Center entered their tilt with Sudan on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Hornets 9-3. The Owls might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matchups by six runs or more this season.

Miella Anguiano spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on 11 hits and racked up nine Ks.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Alyssa Borunda, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. Avelynn Trevino was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.

Hale Center always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .515. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .500 or higher in five consecutive contests.

Hale Center pushed their record up to 14-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home.
