Castle entered their tilt with Tecumseh on Wednesday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Braves. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Knights have posted against the Braves since August 22, 2017.

Castle was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-22, 20-25, 25-16, 15-13.

Paige Furbee paced Castle's offense, picking up 21 kills. Furbee got some help from Alexus Shepherd and her 60 assists. Finally, Lucia Evernham kept Castle's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

When it comes to explaining why Tecumseh lost, don't look at Lydia Wilson. Despite the final result, she had 18 digs and six assists. Wilson is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 18 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Castle's win bumped their record up to 24-3. As for Tecumseh, they moved to 21-6 with that defeat, which also ended their four-match winning streak.
