Baseball Recap: Skyline Comes Up Short

Skyline made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Dexter, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Eagles fell just short of the Dreadnaughts by a score of 3-1 on Monday. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor in this series.

Skyline's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Dexter, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

While Skyline had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
