Basketball Recap: Jones Christian Academy Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Aletheia Christian Academy, Jones Christian Academy was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They managed a 28-22 win over the South Baldwin Christian Academy Knights. The Warrior haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cassandra Barclay, who posted six points and six rebounds. Barclay is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as she's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games she's played. Braelynn Mclean was another key player, putting up five points and three steals.

Jones Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for South Baldwin Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-14.

As of now, neither Jones Christian Academy nor South Baldwin Christian Academy have any future games scheduled.
