Baseball Game Preview: East Tartans vs. Green Bobcats

East hasn't had much luck against Green recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Tartans will welcome the Bobcats at 5:00 p.m.

Thursday just wasn't the day for East's offense. They lost 19-0 to Green on Thursday.

For Green's part, Kase McIntyre made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). McIntyre was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs and two RBI.

In other batting news, Landon Kimbler was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Blake Smith was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Green hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters in three consecutive games.

Green's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for East, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
