Volleyball Game Preview: Presentation Panthers vs. Archbishop Riordan Crusaders + How To Watch

The Presentation Panthers will square off against the Archbishop Riordan Crusaders at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

It was a proper cat-fight when Presentation duked it out with Notre Dame on Tuesday. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Tigers. The Panthers have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

While Presentation had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-20, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Archbishop Riordan suffered their biggest loss since September 11th on Tuesday. They came up short against St. Ignatius College Preparatory, falling 3-0.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: St. Ignatius College Preparatory scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-23, 25-17.

Presentation's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Archbishop Riordan, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.

Presentation suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Archbishop Riordan when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
