T.L. Hanna extended their winning streak to seven on Friday, bumping them up to 7-1. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 55-17 victory over the J.L. Mann Patriots. Considering the Yellow Jackets have won three games by more than 28 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

T.L. Hanna's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Emari Nance, who rushed for 145 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries. Nance really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run. The team also got some help courtesy of Jimmarion Boston, who rushed for 72 yards and three TDs on only six carries.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something T.L. Hanna proved: they limited J.L. Mann to a paltry 0.7 yards per carry. While eight picked up at least one total tackle, Nance stood above the rest. He rushed for 145 yards and a pair of scores on only eight carries. T.L. Hanna didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 11.2.

As for J.L. Mann, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7. While losing is never fun, they can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 95th, while T.L. Hanna is ranked tenth).

J.L. Mann's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gage Watkins, who threw for 182 yards and a pair of touchdowns. The Patriots also got help from AJ Bush, who showed off his sure hands for 109 receiving yards.

The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 1,053 yards in their previous games. Meanwhile, J.L. Mann will face off against rival Greenwood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
