Basketball Recap: Herculaneum Takes a Loss

Herculaneum was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 66-25 defeat at the hands of the DeSoto Dragons. The Black Cats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Dragons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2018.

Herculaneum's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for DeSoto, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.

Herculaneum will venture away from home to challenge Potosi at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. DeSoto has already played their next match, a 53-44 loss against Windsor on the 16th.
