Carroll snaps nine-game streak of wins at home

Recap: Carroll Patriots vs. Archbishop McNicholas Rockets
The Carroll Patriots were the 62-53 winner over the Archbishop McNicholas Rockets when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Carroll fell 50-43 to Archbishop McNicholas on Tuesday. Carroll has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Archbishop McNicholas found their leader in underclassman Grant Waters, who scored 15 points. The match was Waters' fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gunnar Bates, who scored nine points.
Carroll's loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-2. As for Archbishop McNicholas, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carroll will be home for the holidays to greet Badin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Archbishop McNicholas will be home for the holidays to greet Chaminade Julienne Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
