Football Recap: Davenport Victorious + How To Watch

Davenport's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They skirted past the Kathleen Red Devils 18-15.

Despite the loss, Kathleen still got an impressive performance from Xavion Mitchell, who rushed for 127 yards and one TD on only 12 carries. With that strong performance, Mitchell is now averaging an impressive 104.4 rushing yards per game.

Davenport's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Kathleen, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Davenport will welcome Lake Minneola at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Broncos will be up against the Hawks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 41.4 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Kathleen, they will square off against Sebring at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Red Devils' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
