Soccer Recap: Thursday's Win Is Laguna Beach's Third in Last Four Outings

Laguna Beach had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Their defense stepped up to hand the South Hills Huskies a 1-0 shutout on Thursday. The result kept the Breakers happy, as they haven't lost a game since January 10th.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Dylan Petrie-Norris, who's now up to seven this season.

Laguna Beach has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four matches. As for South Hills, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.

Looking ahead, Laguna Beach will challenge Indian Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Indian Springs will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Laguna Beach surely won't give up without a fight. South Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
