Volleyball Recap: Lauralton Hall Comes Up Short

Lauralton Hall lost against Amity Regional on September 8th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Crusaders lost 3-0 to the Spartans.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-9, 25-11.

Camryn Irby paced Lauralton Hall's offense, picking up three kills. Irby got some help from Carti Foran and her six assists.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Amity Regional to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lily Simons, who had eight digs and four aces. Simons is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last six games she's played. Another player making a difference was Noralynn Bosma, who had four aces and three digs.

Lauralton Hall's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Amity Regional, their win bumped their record up to 9-2.

Lauralton Hall didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Mercy on the 1st. As for Amity Regional, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Hand on the 30th.
