Volleyball Recap: Okolona Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Okolona was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Ingomar Falcons, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 9th.

The match finished with set scores of 25-4, 25-7, 25-6.

Daylen Grisham was the offensive standout of the contest as she had five aces. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.1 aces per game.

Okolona's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Ingomar, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-4-1.

Looking ahead, Okolona will be playing at home against Tupelo Christian Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Ingomar, they will venture away from home to challenge Myrtle at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
