Football Game Preview: Seneca Golden Eagles vs. Hammonton Blue Devils

The Seneca Golden Eagles will head out to take on the Hammonton Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Seneca's defense has only allowed 10.5 points per game this season, so Hammonton's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Things were looking good for Seneca after they put the first points on the board on Friday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell 21-14 to Hopewell Valley Central. While the Golden Eagles didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bulldogs 7-0 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, Hammonton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were outmatched by Kingsway and fell 33-0. The game marked the first time this season in which the Blue Devils were not able to get on the board.

Hammonton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Seneca, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.

Everything came up roses for Seneca against Hammonton in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 41-7 win. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Blue Devils' Deandre Clemons, who rushed for 138 yards and one score.
