Softball Recap: Peru Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Peru's offense. They lost 11-0 to the Logansport Berries on Tuesday.

Peru's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-6. As for Logansport, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-4.

Looking ahead, Peru will square off against Wabash at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Apaches will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Logansport, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Kokomo at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Berries' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildkats have averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season.
