Basketball Recap: Cleburne County falls short of Jacksonville in the playoffs

Basketball Recap: Cleburne County Tigers vs. Jacksonville Golden Eagles
The Cleburne County Tigers and the Jacksonville Golden Eagles squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but sadly the Cleburne County Tigers had to settle for second. They took a 62-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Eagles. Cleburne County has not had much luck with the Golden Eagles recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
It was another big night for Devin Barksdale, who scored 27 points along with five rebounds and three steals for Jacksonville. The team also got some help courtesy of Sean Herbert, who scored eight points along with two steals.
Cleburne County's loss dropped their record down to 16-11. As for Jacksonville, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 16 games, which provided a nice bump to their 24-7 record this season.
Cleburne County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Jacksonville also has no future games currently scheduled.
