Softball Recap: GV Christian Comes Up Short

GV Christian lost against Milford last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The GV Christian Guardians came up short against the Milford Tigers, falling 18-2. The Guardians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

GV Christian saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kylie Bevevino, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI. The dominant performance gave Bevevino a new career-high in hits. Malia Arredondo also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

GV Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Milford, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

GV Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lincoln County at 1:00 p.m. on March 25th. As for Milford, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 17-1 victory against Beaver Dam on the 8th.
