Football Recap: Conneaut Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After soaring to 50 points the game before, Conneaut was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They were dealt a 43-7 loss at the hands of the Madison Blue Streaks. The Spartans haven't had much luck with the Blue Streaks recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Payton Birman continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Madison, rushing for 134 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.4 yards per carry. Those three rushing touchdowns gave Birman a new career-high.

Conneaut's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Madison, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Conneaut does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Madison, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 34-8 loss against Kenston on the 31st.
