Football Game Preview: Giltner vs. Blue Hill

Giltner will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Blue Hill at 7:00 PM. Giltner are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the matchup prepared for a fight.

Don't be fooled by the insanely high score: we promise Giltner and Lawrence-Nelson were playing football. Giltner were completely outmatched, falling 50-96 to Lawrence-Nelson. Giltner got a solid performance out of senior Trevor Linden, who passed for 196 yards and 3 touchdowns; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the victory. In fact, with 23 tackles Linden was a force on both sides of the ball.

Meanwhile, Blue Hill have had to suffer through a 3-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were fully in charge last Friday, breezing past Franklin 55-10. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-0.

Blue Hill's win lifted them to 1-3 while Giltner's loss dropped them down to 1-3. After the lofty point totals in their previous games, we'll see if they're able to heat things up even more while facing each other.
