Baseball Game Preview: Grandview Greyhounds vs. East Valley Red Devils

Grandview is 1-9 against East Valley since April of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Greyhounds will look to defend their home field against the Red Devils at 11:00 a.m. Grandview has given up an average of 11.4 runs per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Grandview is headed into Saturday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their tenth straight game on Tuesday. They came up short against Toppenish, falling 13-0.

Meanwhile, East Valley beat Ellensburg 4-1 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Devils.

East Valley's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Grandview, their loss dropped their record down to 1-15.
