Softball Recap: Russia Comes Up Short

If Russia was feeling good fresh off their 14-0 takedown of Fairlawn on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Raiders fell 6-3 to the Anna Rockets on Monday. The Raiders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Rockets earlier this season, when they won 10-0.

Russia now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Anna, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-6.

Russia has already played their next game, an 11-10 defeat against Covington on the 29th. As for Anna, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, an 11-1 loss against Fort Recovery on the 29th.
