Basketball Recap: Liberty Christian Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Liberty Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with a 43-31 victory over the First Baptist Crusaders on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Despite the loss, First Baptist still got an impressive performance from Caleb Lindsay, who posted 18 points. Brody Jaeger was another key player, putting up three points and three steals.

The win got Liberty Christian back to even at 2-2. As for First Baptist, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Liberty Christian will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against First Baptist at 7:00 p.m. on January 21, 2025. First Baptist will also get a bit of a break before their next contest: they'll face off against Prior Lake Christian at 7:15 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
