Softball Recap: San Marin's Run of Four Straight Wins Now Over

After flying high against Pittsburg on Friday, San Marin came back down to earth. The Mustangs fell 6-1 to the Cardinal Newman Cardinals on Friday. The Mustangs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cardinals earlier this season, when they won 5-3.

San Marin saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Savannah Reynolds, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

San Marin wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 16-3 win against Pittsburg on the 5th. As for Cardinal Newman, they have also already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Heritage on the 5th.
