Softball Game Preview: Kinkaid Falcons vs. Houston Christian Mustangs

The Kinkaid Falcons will challenge the Houston Christian Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Kinkaid is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Episcopal just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They came up short against the Knights, falling 18-3. The game marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Saturday just wasn't the day for Houston Christian's offense. They lost 10-0 to Rogers Heritage on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Mustangs have suffered since February 24, 2024.

Houston Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Kinkaid, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 9-5-1.
