Toppenish has gone 10-0 against Quincy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Toppenish Wildcats will take on the Quincy Jackrabbits at 5:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Toppenish and four for Quincy.

Toppenish fought the good fight in their overtime game against Grandview on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell to the Greyhounds 62-57. Even though they lost, the Wildcats' still made a splash on offense and bumped their average scoring up to 50.1 points per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Toppenish might have lost, but man, Viviana Hernandez was a machine: she went 7 for 12 on her way to 21 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Samiah Baker, who posted 12 points.

Meanwhile, Quincy came up short against East Valley on Saturday and fell 55-42.

Quincy's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Toppenish, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.

Everything came up roses for Toppenish against Quincy in their previous meeting back in February of 2020, as the squad secured a 65-35 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Toppenish since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
