Soccer Recap: Shepard Finishes Even with Bremen

For the first time this season, Shepard was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor the Bremen Braves could gain the upper hand on Tuesday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

With that draw, Shepard's record moves to 4-7-1. As for Bremen, they moved theirs to 4-6-1.

Looking ahead, Shepard will face off against Joliet West at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Bremen, they will be taking part in a tournament against Clifton Central at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Bremen will be up against Clifton Central's rather soft defense (which has allowed four goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
