Baseball Game Preview: Wayne Eagles vs. Waterloo Tigers

For the second straight game, Wayne will face off against Waterloo. The Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Wayne has three straight wins, Waterloo has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Wayne's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They came out on top against Waterloo by a score of 4-0.

Not much got past Cory Jones, who gave up just a hit and racked up nine Ks to keep Waterloo off the board.

At the plate, Michael Grasso was incredible, scoring a run and stealing four bases while going 2-for-3. Caleb Celso was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Wayne's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Waterloo, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
