Falconer has gone a perfect 7-0 against Fredonia recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Golden Falcons will challenge the Hillbillies at 6:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Falconer has five straight victories, Fredonia has seven straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Monday, Falconer made easy work of Olean and carried off a 3-0 win.

While Falconer might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Olean scored at least 21 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 28-26, 25-21, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Fredonia came up short against Chautauqua Lake on Tuesday and fell 3-1.

Fredonia started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-18, 25-13, 25-7.

Fredonia's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Falconer, their victory bumped their record up to 12-2.

Everything went Falconer's way against Fredonia in their previous matchup back in September, as Falconer made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Golden Falcons since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
