Soccer Game Preview: Willits vs. Lower Lake + Official Tickets

The Willits Wolverines will head out to square off against the Lower Lake Trojans at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Willits' defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Middletown 1-0. Willits' winning goal came courtesy of Hector Calderon.

Meanwhile, Lower Lake entered their tilt with Upper Lake on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over the Cougars. Considering Lower Lake have won five matchups by more than three goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Willits' victory bumped their record up to 6-8-1. As for Lower Lake, their win bumped their record up to 9-3.

Willits came up short against Lower Lake in their previous matchup back in September, falling 3-1. Can the Wolverines avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
