Basketball Recap: Nimitz's Losing Streak Snapped at Six Games

Nimitz can bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They strolled past the Irving Tigers with points to spare, taking the game 44-29. This was a revenge game for the Vikings: when they faced off against the Tigers back in December of 2024, they had to take a 29-21 loss.

Nimitz's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-9 and their overall record up to 7-19. As for Irving, their defeat was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-20.

Nimitz has already played their next match (against Lake Highlands), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Irving has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Berkner.
