Softball Recap: Myrtle Beach Takes a Loss

Myrtle Beach was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the Goose Creek Gators.

Trinity King was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI.

Myrtle Beach's record is now 0-3. As for Goose Creek, the win snapped their losing streak at nine games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-2 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Myrtle Beach will host Waccamaw at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Goose Creek, they will be playing at home against Fort Dorchester at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
