Baseball Recap: Walkertown Wolfpack vs. Greater Vision Academy Lions
In what's become a running theme this season, Walkertown gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Greater Vision Academy Lions with a sharp 16-1 win. The victory was some much needed relief for Walkertown as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Dakota Larimore and Clifton Olmedo did most of the damage at the plate: Larimore went 3-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and a triple, while Olmedo scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Caden Joyce was another key contributor, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
On Greater Vision Academy's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Vicinanza, who went 2-for-2 with a stolen base and an RBI.
