Football Game Preview: Blissfield Royals vs. Onsted Wildcats

The Blissfield Royals will take on the Onsted Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

On Friday, Blissfield was beaten by Ida 55-6. While losing is never fun, the Royals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 268th, while the Bluestreaks are ranked 112th).

Meanwhile, Onsted fell victim to Clinton and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 49-0 loss at the hands of the Redwolves.

Blissfield's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Onsted, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-4.

Blissfield might still be hurting after the 35-12 loss they got from Onsted in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Thankfully for the Royals, Luke Manders (who threw for 192 yards and three touchdowns on only 16 passes, and also rushed for 46 yards) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
