It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Bryan ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over the Burke Bulldogs. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Bryan were the better team in the second half.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Ezechiel Mufungizi, who's now up to four this season.

Bryan is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Burke, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-9.

Bryan didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Buena Vista on the 19th. As for Burke, they have also already played their next contest, a 5-1 defeat against Millard South on the 19th.
