Flag Football Recap: Lompoc Takes a Loss

Lompoc came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were dealt a 27-0 loss at the hands of the Bakersfield Christian Eagles. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Braves haven't been shut out since back in August.

Tara Terrones threw for 46 yards on ten of 19 attempts.

The defeat snapped Lompoc's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-4 record. As for Bakersfield Christian, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

Lompoc didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 28-0 victory against Santa Maria on the 8th. As for Bakersfield Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 20-14 win against Paso Robles on the 4th.
