Oak Park-River Forest lost against Normal Community back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Huskies fell 2-0 to the Ironmen. The Huskies' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Oak Park-River Forest's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Normal Community, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oak Park-River Forest is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will take on Wheaton-Warrenville South at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Normal Community, they are headed away from home for the first time to square off against Moline at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
