Recap: Notre Dame Prep Saints vs. Saguaro Sabercats
The Notre Dame Prep Saints won the last time they faced the Saguaro Sabercats, and things went their way on Friday too. Notre Dame Prep came out on top against Saguaro by a score of 64-53. With that victory, Notre Dame Prep brought their scoring average up to 54 points per game.
Notre Dame Prep was led to victory by Ava Pautz and Ayla Keefe. Pautz dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds, while Keefe dropped a double-double on 27 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Pautz has scored at least 25% of Notre Dame Prep's points. Olivia Frankel was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 5 rebounds.
The win got Notre Dame Prep back to even at 1-1. As for Saguaro, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Notre Dame Prep's road trip will continue as they head out to face Mesquite at 7:20 p.m. on November 24th. Hopefully Mesquite focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Friday. As for Saguaro, they will head out on the road to face off against Pusch Ridge Christian Academy at 3:20 p.m. on Friday.
