Football Recap: McCamey Badgers vs. Wink Wildcats
A victory for McCamey just wasn't in the cards on Friday as the squad wasn't able to take the lead at any point. They were beaten by the Wink Wildcats 72-13. The Badgers have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as their game on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Aiden Torres threw for 236 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.2 yards per attempt.
Edgar Quinonez was his top target, picking up 105 receiving yards. On the ground,
Stetson Brooks rushed for 54 yards, and also picked up 46 receiving yards.
Wink was led to victory by Kemyd Faciane and Layne Lusby. Faciane rushed for 237 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 13.2 yards per carry, while Lusby threw for 198 yards and three touchdowns on only 17 passes. As for Wink, they will square off against Iraan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 1,005 yards in their previous games.
