Basketball Recap: Northwood Comes Up Short

Northwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They fell 49-38 to the LaSalle Tigers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Gators this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 42-25 back in January.

Northwood's loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for LaSalle, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 14-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northwood will host Lakeview at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lakeview will roll in looking for their 16th straight victory, something Northwood surely won't give up without a fight. As for LaSalle, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the LaSalle Tigers face off against the Dodson Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
