Basketball Recap: Langley Picks Up Tenth Straight Win at Home

Langley had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.8 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They strolled past the Washington-Liberty Generals with points to spare, taking the game 46-27. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 53-38 last Wednesday.

Langley was led to victory by Alice Allen and Anya Rahman. Allen went 5 for 10 on her way to 16 points, while Rahman posted 14 points and four steals. Rahman is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Maddie Shamloo, who put up four points in addition to six rebounds and five assists.

Langley pushed their record up to 14-3 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.5 points per game. As for Washington-Liberty, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.
