Softball Recap: Greeneview Rams vs. Catholic Central Irish

Greeneview can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent game on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Catholic Central Irish a 23-0 shutout. Winning may never get old, but Greeneview sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Kennedy Dean was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Dean has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in five consecutive pitching appearances. Dean was also big at the plate, going 4-for-5 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and a run.

In other batting news, Greeneview got a massive performance out of Bella Sutton, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs, two triples, and two RBI. Gabby Sutton was another key contributor, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
