The Bradley Central Bears put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against Cleveland as Bradley Central made off with a 65-42 victory. Considering Bradley Central has won five games by more than 22 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Cleveland's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lauren Hurst, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Ma?kyah Westfield was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Bradley Central pushed their record up to 8-0 with that win, which was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 37.29 points. As for Cleveland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bradley Central will take on Knoxville Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Knoxville Catholic is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 65 points per game. As for Cleveland, they will be playing at home against Chattanooga Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Chattanooga Christian's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
