Basketball Recap: Southern Takes a Loss

Southern was the 46-37 winner over Brunswick when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Southern Rams fell to the Brunswick Railroaders 48-42. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Southern still got an impressive performance from Brayden Upole, who posted 17 points in addition to six assists and five rebounds. Graham Harvey was another key player, putting up six points and seven boards.

Southern's record is now 11-9. As for Brunswick, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

Southern wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 68-61 defeat against Fort Hill on the 24th. As for Brunswick, they have also already played their next game, a 52-45 loss against Liberty on the 24th.
